About MEAVE

MEAVE is a Toronto-based alternative pop-rock artist carving out a bold, emotionally charged space in Canada’s music scene. Blending raw vulnerability with unapologetic edge, she first introduced herself with her debut EP Who is Sam?—a project that set the tone for her introspective songwriting and fearless storytelling.

Since the EP’s release, MEAVE has continued to build momentum with a string of singles, most notably i’m so sorry (the bitch song), which has been gaining traction across the Toronto music community for its sharp honesty and cathartic energy. Writing all of her own material, she collaborates closely with a circle of trusted producers and co-writers she considers close friends, creating music that feels both deeply personal and sonically expansive.

A former finalist of Canada’s Got Talent, placing fourth on Season 2, she was discovered while busking on the streets of Niagara Falls by Comedian and Talent Scout Howie Mandel. MEAVE has taken that national spotlight and turned it into a growing live presence—touring across Ontario, Quebec, and the East Coast of Canada- connecting with audiences through powerful, emotionally driven performances.

Inspired by artists like Florence + The Machine, Evanescence, Weezer, Radiohead, and Hayley Williams, MEAVE fuses alt-rock grit with cinematic pop sensibilities. At her core, she’s “for the girls”—creating music that empowers, uplifts, and gives voice to the complexities of emotion, identity, and self-worth.
